Cottage Sundance pour 4 personnes

Could have been better. Positive: The location was good and central to most areas that we wanted to visit in the locality The layout of the cottage was good There were good sized bath sheets provided, and the shower was good. The living spaces were of a good size, comfortable and sufficient furniture for 4 The cottage was warm once we had worked out the heating (it was a wet damp week that we stayed) Negative: It was located on the main road which wasn't explained on the description, the road was busy and this made it noisy all the time, especially as one of the bedrooms was at the front of the cottage. On one occasion we saw 2 cars racing down the road side by side. The parking was poor, having to share with the house next door (the visitors using that house did not park sensibly so that we could get out without reversing out the way we had driven in) - again it was not explained in the description that the parking was shared The cottage was in need of repairs - the light above the shower wasn't working and falling out, there was a poor repair to the bath, the shower extension in the bath didn't work, there was a crack in the bathroom sink and one of the glazed panels in the front window (by the TV) was loose and falling out The kitchen was poorly equipped - there was not a complete set of matching glasses, and the wine glasses were just 125ml There was not a complete set of cutlery for 4, all differing sizes - so much that we went an bought a new set of 4 knives and forks, no serving spoons and the kitchen cooks knives were blunt and wouldn't cut a tomato Only one hand towel was provided for 4 guests No towel was provided in the kitchen and a square of a tea towel and was completely inadequate - so much so that we went and purchased more towels for our stay at an additional cost to us. It could have been so much of a better experience if a little bit of time and money were spent on these very straight forward repairs and investment.

The property was in the right area for our stay and it was passable but we would not book it again. Positive: Location was good and it was nice to have a secure garden at the back for the dog. New decking at the front was nice. We didn't eat at the bungalow but the kitchen was well equipped and the inner lobby/utility was very useful. Negative: There was a bit of an odd smell - I believe the property has been empty for some time. The bathroom could do with some work - nowhere to put anything, shower head did not stay up and the cold water tap swivelled around so was difficult to use. The TV did not work initially so we had to purchase batteries the next day - not a good start.

Positive: Everything good. Lovely place, good location for us.

Ok for a few days but not for a longer holiday Positive: Good location and off road parking Negative: Very cold when we arrived and hadn’t been aired ! Also cottage looks a bit tired sink cracked , tiles loose lights,not working

Positive: The location was peaceful. Negative: The place could do with freshening up.
